Breitling is bringing new meaning to the word “tastemaker.” The watch brand is expanding into the culinary world with the launch of its second restaurant, Breitling Kitchen Geneva.
The grand opening took place in March with the company’s CEO Georges Kern, media, and special guests in attendance, including Breitling’s celebrity brand ambassador actor Álvaro Morte (Money Heist, The Wheel of Time).
Also there for the celebration was Breitling’s culinary partner, Colombian-French star chef Juan Arbeláez, who designed the restaurant’s menu as a modern street-food concept based on fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Building on Chef’s Latin-American roots, the food includes a selection of authentic Mexican tacos as well as the Peruvian-style ceviche Tartare de Daurade. The focus on regional and responsible sourcing also means some unexpected flavors, like the must-try “Guacalogico,” a guacamole that substitutes local broccoli for avocados, and the “Superocean Salad” (named for the brand’s popular sea watch), which features organic greens and sustainably caught fish. Open all day, guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the two-level space – or simply grab a coffee and bite to go.
Breitling has already made its mark on the culinary map with a Breitling Kitchen in Seoul and a Breitling Café in London. Look for the brand’s latest restaurant next to the Breitling boutique on Geneva’s fashionable Quai des Bergues waterfront promenade. The space features an open-plan layout with a bar and banquettes on the ground floor and intimate booth seating on the upper level – all designed in the brand’s signature industrial-loft style with exposed brick walls and floor-to-ceiling atelier windows that give a subtle nod to the design of our watchmaking workshop.
