4. Collected data and processing purpose

The FH processes various types of data in the course of its activities. You will find an overview below.

4.1 When you browse our website

When you visit our website, we collect certain information for audience measurement purposes. This includes the following information:

  • Statistical information (number of pages viewed, downloaded files)

This information is kept for a maximum of 12 months for the purpose for which it was collected and is not disclosed to third parties.

4.2 When you contact us via our contact forms or by e-mail

When you contact us via our contact forms or by email, certain data is collected to enable us to follow up your request. This includes the following information:

4.3 When you place an order on our e-shop

When you place an order via our e-shop, we collect the data necessary for the execution of the sales contract. This includes the following information:

In the event of online payment, your data will be transmitted to the payment organization for finalization of the sale. The data sent to the payment organization is encrypted, to ensure optimum security.

The data protection policy of the payment organization, i.e. PostFinance, applies to the processing they carry out.

If you subscribe to the FH magazine, your contact details will also be sent to Gassmann Media AG, which act as a Data Processor for the mailing of our magazine.

Invoices are kept for 10 years, in accordance with current legal requirements. They may be made accessible to authorized third parties for the purpose of auditing the association's accounts or other controls made by the authorities.

4.4 When you subscribe to one of our newsletters

When you suscribe to one of our newsletters, we collect the personal data necessary to send it. This is the following information:

  • E-mail address
  • Last name/First Name

This information is kept internally, until you unsubscribe, or until we stop the newsletter in question. We keep them longer only if required by legal or regulatory obligations or overriding interests.

Moreover, they are not transmitted to third parties without prior agreement or express request from you.

4.5 When you apply for a job

When you answer a job offer or send us a spontaneous application, we proceed with an electronic recording and processing of your personal data and application in order to complete the selection procedure.

If your application is unsuccessful, we may offer to keep your file for future opportunities. If so, you will be informed of this and given the opportunity to object.

5. Third-party content

Our website may include third-party content, such as buttons redirecting you to third-party websites or social networking pages (e.g. youtube, instagram, facebook).

The security of your data is important to us! We take the necessary organizational and technical measures to ensure your personal data remains secure, within the framework of applicable legislation. These measures are adapted on a regular basis to meet current technical standards.

Some information may remain in our backups, which are carried out regularly as a preventive measure. However, these backups are stored on a third party, non-accessible, disconnected environment.
