Patron of the Scuola Grande di San Rocco

Jaeger-LeCoultre is strengthening its links with the city of Venice. A steadfast partner of the city’s Film Festival for the past ten years, the watchmaker becomes the patron of a cathedral to art beloved by the city’s inhabitants. The Scuola Grande di San Rocco houses many works, some monumental, by the painter Tintoret (1518-1594). To preserve this heritage, Jaeger-LeCoultre is launching a three-year restoration programme supported by several donations. The light and marble of the Ground Floor and Upper Hall will be restored to enhance the unique beauty of what is affectionately known as the «Sistine Chapel» of Venice.
