Breguet presents “The Drawers of Time”

To mark its 250 years of uninterrupted history, Breguet has unveiled a unique exhibition in the heart of Geneva. The iconic boutique on Rue du Rhône has been transformed into an immersive, temporary space called “The Drawers of Time”.

This playful, original retrospective highlights the major inventions that have marked the history of the House, while paying tribute to the visionary spirit of Abraham-Louis Breguet.

Designed as an interactive and reflective experience, the exhibition invites visitors to open a series of drawers, each posing a fundamental question – just as a watchmaker in search of perfection might have done. These questions reflect the technical and aesthetic challenges that have punctuated two and a half centuries of watchmaking innovation.

Some answers gave rise to inventions that have become iconic, while others inspired advances that still continue to shape contemporary watchmaking. All bear witness to constantly evolving expertise, driven by boldness, rigorous discipline and passion. “The Drawers of Time” do more than just tell a story: they challenge, arouse curiosity and invite visitors to imagine the future.

This event invites free public access with no prior registration required and can be visited during boutique opening hours until 31 December 2025.
