Vacheron Constantin announces a CPO programme

Founded in 1755, Vacheron Constantin is the world’s oldest continuously operating watch manufacturer. To underline its commitment to creating timepieces destined to live more than one life, it has developed a programme of certified pre-owned (CPO) watches, first and foremost attesting that all watches produced since 1755 can be restored.

It guarantees that the timepieces have been meticulously inspected, certified and maintained by the Manufacture’s watchmakers, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality. The Maison uses original components, old tools and machines, artisanal skills, archives, sketches and plans to repair or restore all its timepieces.

Certified pre-owned watches come with an international warranty of at least two years and a digital passport based on blockchain technology. Each passport is unique and contains key information about the watch, such as its ownership history and its technical manual. It is delivered in a pouch and also bears a dedicated seal guaranteeing that it has been sold as part of the CPO programme.

Launched worldwide in collaboration with Watchfinder, a leader in the secondary watch market and a longstanding partner of Vacheron Constantin, the programme will soon be rolled out to other partners and offered in parallel to auction houses.
