The watch brand has unveiled an exceptional timepiece created in collaboration with the world’s leading guitar manufacturer, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. The two firms have naturally united around their passion for creating unique objects in presenting the Bulgari Aluminium GMT Fender Limited Edition and the Stratocaster, two timeless design icons that have become cultural symbols, in tribute to the 70th anniversary of the legendary electric guitar.
This timepiece features the original colours of the iconic instrument. The sunburst finish – a nod to one of Fender’s signature lacquered looks – and the same creamy white hue enliven this limited edition. The brown rubber bezel, the second time zone – dark brown for night and creamy white for day – along with the rhodium-plated and polished hour-markers and hands put this model entirely in tune with the legendary Stratocaster. Behind the scenes, the mechanical calibre tells the time around the world. Bulgari has also redesigned the model’s Velcro strap to ensure a perfect fit, even during the most intense riffs. The “Fender” inscription on the back of the DLC-coated titanium case underlines music’s incredible power to unite people and to resonate around the world.
This limited edition is accompanied by a book retracing the 70-year history of the legendary guitar. Fender will produce 70 customised pieces of this instrument, handcrafted by the most skilled luthiers.
