For the 37th America’s Cup, Omega has taken on the role of Official Timekeeper and will closely follow every stage of the famous regatta, which runs from 22 August to 27 October 2024.
Omega’s association with the world-famous regatta began in 1995, when it supported Emirates Team New Zealand, led by the legendary sailor Sir Peter Blake. The kiwis’ victory that same year set the course for the watchmaker to take the coveted role of Official Timekeeper in 2000, 2003 and 2021. This year, history is repeating itself.
To celebrate this partnership, a new Master Chronometer-certified timepiece has been unveiled. The 42mm Seamaster Diver 300M is made of stainless steel. It features a blue ceramic unidirectional bezel with a regatta scale, composed of two 5-minute pre-start sections and a Start section with a regatta-inspired flag.
