Maurice Lacroix collaborates again with Label Noir

After collaborating with the Geneva-based company for the first time in 2020, Maurice Lacroix is now presenting a second timepiece created in partnership with Label Noir. Featuring a subtle interplay of contrasts, light and shade, transparency, black and white, this timepiece highlights the creativity and innovative spirit of the two entities.

Equipped with a hand-wound movement, this contemporary skeleton watch reveals numerous components that are usually hidden from view. The mechanism, calibre and gear train are clearly visible. The barrel has an openworked cap enabling the spring to be admired from different angles. At 12 o’clock, one can observe the oscillation of the balance wheel, the breathing of the hairspring, as well as the pallet-lever mechanism engaging with the escape-wheel. Like the other Masterpiece models, the Manufacture Calibre ML134 is adorned with Grand Colimaçon snailing, sand-blasted finishes and polished bevelling.

The sapphire crystal caseback offers a bird’s-eye view of the movement and its components. The matt black and anthracite DLC-coated case measures a comfortable 43mm in diameter. Issued in a 288-piece limited series, this timepiece is teamed with a black nylon strap bearing the matching “M” logo.
