Zenith unveils a collaboration with Time+Tide

The result of a collaboration between the Manufacture in Le Locle and the Australian designers at Time+Tide, this timepiece is distinguished by its angular case with a 12-sided bezel and its integrated beadblasted titanium bracelet. This treatment gives the timepiece a discreet and even shade of grey, with very little glinting.

Water-resistant to 100 metres thanks to its screw-down crown, this timepiece is powered by the very latest generation of the El Primero 3620 high-frequency automatic movement beating at a rate of 5 Hertz, or 36,000 vibrations per hour.

The openworked dial is designed like a night sky, with a large four-pointed star in the centre revealing the blue bridges and mainplate of the skeletonised movement. The metallic blue appearing in a gradient that darkens as it rises, thus evoking the fading light on the horizon after sunset. At 6 o’clock, the dial reveals a tenths-of-a-second indicator, a unique feature on a skeleton watch.

The Defy Skyline Skeleton Night Surfer El Primero comes with a second strap in textured blue rubber, which can be easily fitted thanks to the interchangeability system developed by Zenith. Produced in a limited edition of 200, this timepiece is exclusively available from Time+Tide’s online boutique and from Zenith boutiques worldwide.
