The high-end watch manufacturer has presented a jewellery version of La Grenade, revisited by New York jeweller Alex Moss.
This collaboration presents a limited edition of the table clock inspired by the MKII grenade. The design incorporates a pin that doubles as a key, serving to set the time and wind the eight-day movement. The hours and minutes are displayed on two black aluminium discs rotating directly above the beating heart. Oscillating at the traditional frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, the balance is in the foreground, an audible reminder that time is slipping away.
These pieces are adorned with magnificent rare diamonds and sparkle from every angle thanks to the exceptional setting technique used by Alex Moss. The openworked movement allows light to pour through the entire structure. As if caught in an infinite dance of reflected light, La Grenade model undergoes a captivating transformation, morphing into an objet d’art.
With his bold approach, Alex Moss has established himself as one of the leading names in the highly competitive field of personalised diamond jewellery. His loyal clientele includes artists, businessmen and music personalities such as Drake, Tyler the Creator and Jack Harlow, who call on his services to create special models.
