Zian Kighelman et Isaline Leitenberg
After 30 years at the helm of Horlyne, Raymond Leitenberg has handed over the general management of the company to Zian Kighelman. This smooth succession comes just a few months after Horlyne was integrated into the Acrotec group.
Based in La Chaux-de-Fonds since 1978, the company now specialises in producing top-of-the-range oscillating weights in precious metals for the leading watch brands. Today, it is the Swiss reference in this sector thanks to its multiple crafts and equipment ranging from a rose engine for guilloché work to state-of-the-art Femto laser technology.
Having run the company since 1992, Raymond Leitenberg decided to prepare his succession and the future of Horlyne by joining the Acrotec group in May 2022 and by recruiting Zian Kighelman to take over from him since last September.
A former president of the Swiss Chronometry Society (SSC), Zian Kighelman has spent most of his career in senior positions for brands such as Chanel, Cartier and Piaget. It was in the context of these watchmaking functions that he met Raymond Leitenberg over 15 years ago. His role will be to give new impetus to the company’s growth, particularly in jewellery. With this in mind, he will be supported by Isaline Leitenberg, daughter of Horlyne’s historic director, who has been in charge of marketing and human resources for the past ten or so years.
