Dark versus light. This is the eternally compelling theme at play in Hamilton’s new Black & Gold Collection, a melding of the subdued and the vibrant.
The watchmaker has brought together five of its most popular models – the Jazzmaster Automatic 36mm, the Jazzmaster Auto Chrono 42mm, the Pan Europ, the Ventura Chrono Quartz and the Ventura S – and dressed their stainless steel cases in a black PVD coating with gold accents for an under-the-radar look that is at once stealthy and conspicuous.
Gold hands, indices, and minutes/seconds tracks pop against the matt black surfaces of the watches’ cases and dials, bringing eclectic model families together beneath the same two-tone umbrella. The straps further reinforce the subtle color scheme, while a mix of automatic and quartz movements as well as various case shapes means there is a timepiece available for every taste.
