Audemars Piguet is celebrating the jubilee of the Royal Oak with a series of events in major cities around the world. Among the highlights, the Manufacture is unveiling an immersive public experience from April to July in Dubai, Zurich, New York and Shanghai.
Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the cultural universe of the Royal Oak, following its journey from its first inspirations to the ongoing dialogue it maintains with the entire cultural world. The watch’s five decades are presented with the help of surprising edutainment content, inspired by the multiple facets of the Royal Oak and the audacious spirit that has always driven it. People can also test their knowledge of this timepiece and the brand in general by means of a digital challenge.
In addition, from April to September, a series of local pop-up exhibitions will take place in Tokyo, Hong Kong and London, echoing the free spirit of the collection through in-situ sensory installations. These ephemeral exhibitions follow the evolution of the Royal Oak within the watchmaking landscape and beyond by presenting contemporary and historical pieces that tell the story of the collection.
Finally, exclusive dinners will be held in key locations in Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, Zurich, London and Turin, including events where customers and collectors will be invited to display their Royal Oak models alongside a selection of pieces from the brand’s heritage.
