First edition of Time to Watches

The new show has firmly taken its place at the heart of Geneva’s great spring watchmaking week.

Thanks to its multifaceted positioning, as an exhibition space for established and young emerging brands, as a forum for exchanges on the major issues of the industry, and as a relaxed and friendly place to encourage meetings and sharing after two years of restrictions, Time to Watches enabled the emergence of a convincing and unifying dialogue around mechanical, independent, creative and innovative brands.

During the four days of the show, some 4,500 people – from Switzerland, Europe, Asia and the United States – visited the exhibition. All the exhibitors agreed that the numerous visits were a great success and helped to resume the dialogue interrupted by the health restrictions.

Dedicated to sharing, the Time to Talk area welcomed some 40 speakers. Debates, round tables, Instagram live sessions: several daily events enlivened the show, dealing with themes such as the circular economy, NFTs, the future of Swiss watchmaking, CPO, design and creation, etc. The Time to the Future area dedicated to young watchmakers fulfilled its mission by generating great energy and attracting a large number of visitors.

In order to enrich the dialogue, the organisers have already announced the creation of a committee of exhibitors. The 2023 edition will be held in the same space, within HEAD – Geneva, on the same dates as Watches and Wonders Geneva.
