On 21 December this year, the movement manufacturer in La Chaux-de-Fonds unveiled its partnership with Besançon-based watchmaker Humbert-Droz.
This major project focuses on the G100 calibre: a three-hand self-winding movement with date and 68-hour power reserve. Developed and produced by La Joux-Perret, the mechanism will be delivered to Humbert-Droz in the form of a component kit and assembled by the French firm’s watchmakers who underwent training last November in the Swiss workshop.
The project also encompasses the Bailly company, likewise located in Besançon, which will handle customisation of the oscillating weights in accordance with the wishes expressed by individual brands. The G100 movement is available to both La Joux-Perret and Humbert-Droz customers.
