Rado will participate in The Pink Dial Project special auction this October to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Created by Revolution magazine and other trade journals, the event will raise funds for research, treatment and increased awareness of this important cause. Various watch companies will take part by offering a one-of-a-kind model for auction and all proceeds will be donated to charity.
An interpretation of the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic will be auctioned. This timepiece features a stainless steel bezel with a matt plasma ceramic insert, as well as a pink inner bezel ring, the colour associated with breast cancer. This hue is a perfect match for the ruby back and the rhodium shade of the mobile anchor symbol. The caseback is also specially adorned with the logo of the organiser – Revolution – so as to keep the memory of this charitable cause alive.
