Hublot's Meca-10 becomes a table clock

In collaboration with L’Epée, Hublot has upsized its famous Manufacture Meca-10 movement so as to integrate it into a clock, while retaining the calibre’s initial qualities.

Presented in January 2016, the Meca-10 movement immediately stood out for its performance and unique style, inspired by the Meccano construction set. This unusual, skeletonised architecture gives the calibre a captivating three-dimensional depth, visible through its bridges, including on the caseback.

In bringing to fruition this project to enlarge its movement, Hublot called upon the Manufacture L'Épée: a natural collaboration given that this Jura-based company is world-renowned for its expertise in the field of clocks. The joint expertise of the designers, builders and master horologists of the two Maisons made it possible to meet this challenge and achieve an impressive result.

The Hublot Meca-10 remains very close to its initial model, of which it is an oversized version. A generous 19.60x18.10cm case houses the precious mechanism. Like the wristwatch version from which it is derived, the Meca-10 clock movement boasts a ten-day power reserve that can be read off on an indicator located at 6 o’clock. An exceptional object reserved for discerning enthusiasts, this clock comes in two versions and is available in a limited edition.
