qmtMultiSens

qmtMultiSens offers an anechoic test environment combining different inspection methods with product handling capabilities.

It is an acoustically isolated chamber under controlled light. It allows the operator’s hands to pass, without degrading the acoustic insulation, in order to be able to handle the product while performing opto-acoustic analyses.

The equipment is equipped with a camera serving to visualise the product for recording and processing. The system also memorises the acoustic signals emitted by the object in a synchronous way with the image based on a time reference. The software enables testing and interfacing of the equipment in the customer’s environment as well as advanced image and sound analysis. The key strong points of the qmtMultiSens are: high sensitivity and synchronised optoacoustic measurements; an anechoic chamber to isolate the product from the outside environment; handling while maintaining acoustic isolation; along with software enabling acquisition, storage, replay and analysis. A first example of application isthat of adjusting and testing striking watches in the field of high-end horology.
