Based in Thyez in Haute-Savoie (France), the firm DJC (Décolletage Jean Cordier) has joined the Acrotec group, a leading centre for the production of components for the Swiss watch industry.
The French profile-turning company boasts an annual production of more than 50 million parts, destined primarily for the international automotive and connector technology markets.
The arrival of DJC in the Swiss group opens up new opportunities for watchmaking applications, with the implementation of more efficient production technologies complementing those already present in other sectors.
This family business is run by three brothers: Alain Cordier, CEO and Sales Director, now a member of the Board of Directors and Management Committee of the Acrotec group; Philippe Cordier, General Manager and Technical Director, and Laurent Cordier, General Manager and Head of Production.
