For many years, Jaeger-LeCoultre has been honouring the achievements of the seventh art and paid tribute to the great directors. Today, the brand is celebrating the immense artist Charlie Chaplin, with whom it has shared a special history.
Chaplin’s World By Grévin will be open to the public from 17 April next, celebrating the 127th anniversary of Charlie Chaplin’s birth. Established at Corsier-sur-Vevey, where the star and his family lived for the last twenty-five years of his life, Chaplin’s World offers the visitor an experience of total immersion into timeless entertainment through the life and work of one of the 20th century’s foremost artists.

At the heart of the Manoir de Ban, the visitor becomes the guest of the artist who hosted the greatest celebrities of his day. Thanks to the uncontested expertise of Grévin, the visitor will be able to «feast his eyes» on the personal and family life of Charlie Chaplin’s last twenty-five years in Switzerland. A Hollywood studio with dimensions fit for the genius himself will give visitors an astonishing total experience of Charlie Chaplin’s cinematographic world. Walking down the narrow streets, among the mechanisms and mythical decors, the visitor will discover or rediscover Charlie Chaplin’s work. A park covering more than six hectares, with century-old trees, will add a final touch to the experience and delight lovers of big open spaces.
