A first in the world of Australian football

For the first time in the history of Australian football, a limited edition timepiece not available over the counter was presented to the winners of the grand final of the 2015 Toyota AFL Premiership at the beginning of October.

Twenty-three exclusive watches, featuring a caseback and bracelet directly inspired by the competition medal, arrived in Melbourne last September under the escort of Jude Bolton. The latter, formerly a player with the Australian club Sydney Swans with whom he won the AFL on two occasions, delivered the timepieces in person to the Melbourne Cricket Ground stadium in Australia after visiting the Tissot workshops in Le Locle.

The brand also worked with Sherrin, makers of the competition’s official ball, to create the red leather cushion on which the watch rests in its presentation case.
