In mid-September, Oris announced the appointment of Rolf Studer and Claudine Gertiser-Herzog as Deputy Executive Directors.
They will be taking up their new duties on 1 January next. Ulrich W. Herzog will focus on the role of Group Chairman.
Ulrich W. Herzog joined the house of Oris back in 1978, when the watch industry crisis was at its height. He played an active part in the repositioning of the enterprise as a maker of mechanical watches. Today, Oris is present in more than 75 countries.
Currently Vice-Chairman, Rolf Studer has been working for the brand for ten years now. In particular, he has headed up the sales division for North America, Europe and the Asian markets. In his new role, he will be in charge of global sales and of the marketing service.
Claudine Gertiser-Herzog has been a member of the Oris Board since 2005. In her new duties, she will supervise finance, human resources and the administrative and IT services.
