Eberhard & Co timekeeper of the Raid Suisse-Paris

Eberhard & Co continues its journey into the fascinating world of period cars in its capacity as official timekeeper of the 25th Raid Suisse-Paris.

An intriguing blend of sport, passion, magnificent landscapes and splendid châteaux, this rally has become an unmissable event for vintage car enthusiasts.

Starting from Basel, a marvellous three-day itinerary led drivers from one château to another along the historic country roads of Bourgogne, Val de Loire and Ile-de-France. This pleasant excursion behind the wheel ended in Paris, famed for its style and elegance. The gala evening and prize-giving ceremony took place at the Grand Hôtel de Paris.

A number of regularity trials featured in the event, including one sponsored by Eberhard & Co, which took place on 27 August at the Château de Talmay. The brand presented two models of its Chrono 4 Wall Clock to the winners of the Eberhard Cup - Stamm/Sieber in a Roll-Royce Silver Shadow II (1977) – in the Young Raiders category - Olivier Schneider and Mike Müller in a Triumph TR 4 dating from 1963 – and the female duo who bagged the Women’s Cup - Arlette Müller and Sabina Schneider in a Sunbeam Tiger MK II (1967). Lastly, four Tazio Nuvolari chronographs were awarded to the winners of the Touring and Veterans categories, respectively: Locher/Uhlmann in an Austin-Healey Sprite 2 (1963) and Fontana/Geyer in a Fiat 1100 (1939).
