To mark its tenth participation in the Venice International Film Festival and pay tribute to the artists who have contributed to its development, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented a retrospective photographic exhibition on the Lido from 2 to 12 September.
Entitled «Behind the Scenes», this exhibition gave visitors an insight into the cinematographic creation process of several artists including Takeshi Kitano, Abbas Kiarostami, Agnès Varda, Sylvester Stallone, Mani Ratnam, Al Pacino, Spike Lee, Ettore Scola and James Franco. Each of them has been rewarded with the «Glory to the Filmmaker Award», an annual prize created by Jaeger-LeCoultre in cooperation with the festival.
The «Glory to the Filmaker Award 2015» was presented to Brian De Palma on 9 September last in the Sala Grande in Venice.
