With Hamilton as the official team sponsor, Nicolas Ivanoff took part in the Red Bull Air Race at Ascot (England) on 15 and 16 August.
At the controls of his Edge 540 aircraft sporting the colours of the brand, the French aerobatic pilot competed with thirteen other aces of this sport from eight different countries. Recent modifications to the weight and aerodynamic features of the aircraft have greatly improved their performance.
Ivanoff won the Red Bull Air Race in Dallas last year and also finished first in the final at Spielberg, in Austria, watched by a crowd of 35,000 spectators. With two victories in 2014, he is now placed fourth in the Red Bull Air Race world championship ranking, a record in his career.
