Last July the actor travelled to the very heart of the Swiss watch industry. On the occasion of the inauguration of the Omega factory in Villeret (Switzerland), the British actor benefited from a guided tour and privileged access to the assembly line at the plant.
Accompanied by Nick Hayek, Swatch Group CEO, and Stephen Urquhart, the Omega President, he was also able to observe production of the new Omega Seamaster 300 «Spectre» Limited Edition, a model which he wears in the film «Spectre», the 24th film depicting the adventures of the famous spy James Bond. As a fervent collector, Daniel Craig was particularly fascinated by the engineering and expertise deployed in this timepiece.
As a tribute to the adventure shown on the cinema screen, the serial number and film logo are engraved on the back of each watch (7,007 copies). The watch is powered by the Omega Master Co-Axial 8400 calibre.
