New President and CEO for Ralph Lauren

With over 20 years of experience in the watch and jewelry industries, Luc Perramond took the head of Ralph Lauren Watch and Jewelry Co. last February.

After earning an undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Paris IX-Dauphine in France, Luc Perramond went on to receive his MBA in Finance and International Business at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Following his studies, he became an Associate Consultant at the firm of Booz Allen & Hamilton, before joining TAG Heuer as President of its US division in 1988. Over the next eleven years, he held several leadership positions within the brand, significantly expanding TAG Heuer’s global presence and ultimately helping to facilitate its sale to LVMH in 1999, after which he was appointed Vice-President of LVMH Watch and Jewelry.

After leaving LVMH in 2001, Luc Perramond founded and led a luxury goods consultancy firm before becoming President of Europe and Asia for H. Stern. During his six-year tenure, he helped transform the Brazilian jeweler into a global powerhouse. In 2009, he joined La Montre Hermès as Chief Executive Officer.

Luc Perramond left La Montre Hermès in 2014 to embark on a new challenge, joining Ralph Lauren Watch and Jewelry Co. as President and CEO. In his new role, he oversees the brand’s business development strategies within the joint venture with the Richemont Group.
