News To strengthen its position in the watchmaking sector, Fendi has acquired the Taramax SA company. Its direct integration into the structure of the business will enable the luxury house based in Rome to lay emphasis on Swiss expertise and Italian creativity. At the same time, Domenico Oliveri has been appointed Managing Director of the Marin-based company.
The Italian haute couture brand whose origins can be traced back to 1925 made its debut in luxury watchmaking in 1988. Since then the Fendi watch collections have produced some of the most prestigious bracelet designs for women and men thanks to the successful alliance of Italian aesthetics with Swiss expertise and also because of the meticulous attention paid to the choice of materials and colours. All Fendi watches are made in Switzerland.
