News The tenth edition of the Zurich Film Festival, which will take place from 25 September to 5 October this year, marks the start of a partnership between the ZFF and IWC Schaffhausen. Already a supporter of film festivals in Beijing, Dubai and New York, the brand thus reaffirms its passion for cinema. Many of its watches have also appeared in Hollywood films and American TV series.
The Zurich Film Festival is a platform for new and promising filmmakers from around the world. It seeks to encourage dialogue between experienced and upcoming directors, the film industry and the public. Each autumn the ZFF presents the most exciting discoveries, as well as the year’s most eagerly awaited movies. Via its two German-speaking competitions, it lays particular emphasis on German, Austrian and Swiss filmmaking. Four international competitions place new directors (first, second or third film) in contention for the Golden Eye, the main prize worth a total of 20,000 Swiss francs.
