News For the second year running, the Fleurier manufactory was the preferred watch industry partner at the Locarno International Film Festival (Festival del Film Locarno). From 7 to 17 August, numerous stars of the silver screen appeared on the Piazza Grande to mark the 66th edition of this prestigious event. Nadia Dresti, head of international activities of the Festival Del Film Locarno and an ambassador of Parmigiani Fleurier in the role of «Exceptional Woman» said she was honoured by this collaboration, which opens new development prospects for the festival.
Parmigiani Fleurier has pledged to support the «Lifetime Achievement Award – Parmigiani», which celebrates the exceptional career of a personality who has left his or her mark on the history of cinema. This year the award went to the English actress Jacqueline Bisset. She was presented with an elegant Kalparisma watch. Sporty and feminine, this steel model with an ivory white dial has a case-back decorated with an engraving specially dedicated to the event.
