To celebrate the 180th anniversary of Jaeger-LeCoultre and the centenary of Aston Martin, the two partner brands organised a journey through their history and heritage named «Anniversary Follow The Drive», accompanied by three new timepieces which elegantly symbolise the links between the two firms.
Darren Turner, the English carmaker’s official driver, blazed the trail of an epic route from the town of Gaydon, the headquarters of Aston Martin, to the Joux Vallley. He was followed by enthusiasts and friends of the two companies, who had the honour of driving the British manufacturer’s latest models and sporting on their wrists recent watch models in the Aston Martin line. After crossing the Channel, the caravan stopped over in Paris outside the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique on the Place Vendôme, the manufactory’s largest establishment worldwide. Then, the devotees of superior engineering in all its forms took to the road again for the final leg of the trip to the Joux Valley. During the expedition, fans of watchmaking and motor sport were also able to discover the first models of the Aston Martin collection, as well as the all-new AMVOX5 World Chronograph with its high-tech case in reinforced ceramal, combining lightness, strength and high performance.
