After New York (Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue), Los Angeles and Miami, Breguet treated itself, last November, to a fifth showcase on the American market by finding a home in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
This new 228 m2 boutique hosts visitors in refined and elegant premises paying tribute to the unmistakable style of the venerable watchmaking house. The predominating royal blue colour subtly echoes the pocket-watch made for the Empress Josephine, wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, a loyal Breguet patron. The glass walls feature the guilloché dial motif crafted in keeping with the finest Swiss watchmaking traditions. Finally, the elliptical shapes on the ceiling evoke the oval form of the Reine de Naples watch, the first wristwatch ordered from A.L- Breguet in 1810 by Caroline Murat, Queen of Naples, and now the brand’s star ladies’ collection.
Visitors will also enjoy a chance to discover the work of the watch manufacturer’s skilled artisans through interactive themed films which they can browse at will using the touch screen. They can thus explore the finesse of the bevelling and chasing, as well as the dexterity demanded by the art of guilloché-work.
This 26th Breguet boutique offers its clientele a stunning collection of the latest watch and jewellery creations from the house, and is the latest edition to the brand’s worldwide network of boutiques.
