News At the beginning of November, Eterna announced with immediate effect the appointment of Patrick Kury to the post of acting CEO of the Granges firm and of Porsche Design Timepieces.
Aged 40 and of Swiss nationality, Patrick Kury has extensive experience in the watch industry, particularly in technical fields. In 2005, he took up the post of Chief Technology Officer at Eterna and from 2008 was also Deputy Executive Director. He is moreover the designer of the Spherodrive, the mainspring barrel mounted on ball-bearings, which the firm patented in 2006.
