Louis Vuitton in Singapore - A Boutique In The Bay

On 18 September, Louis Vuitton opened a new store in Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands. Created by the architect Moshe Safdie, this palace of glass and steel stands resplendent in the centre of Singapore Bay. The interior, designed by Peter Marino, has nautical overtones and pays homage to travellers and the world of the sea. The brand’s fifth store in this region, «Louis Vuitton Island» is nonetheless the first in the world with such a location and such a design.

Visitors can get to this luxury island in three ways: via a walkway, by boat, or through an undersea passage converted into a gallery. Its interior is composed of vast, brightly lit spaces showcasing the brand’s entire product range, including clothing, shoes, luggage, watches, jewellery, as well as books. There is also an exhibition area, the ideal meeting place for shopping and culture. By night, this shopping paradise sparkles with light on a par with the bay’s high-rise buildings.
