Limelight, Possession and Piaget Rose are the models featured in this attractive and glamorous new advertising campaign orchestrated by the Geneva manufacturer in collaboration with Tim Walker and Natasha Pivovarova.
Since 1874, through a mix of time-honoured expertise and innovation, Piaget has constantly explored new creative territory, designing watches and jewels unlike any others. To showcase its treasures, the manufactory has traditionally called upon the services of great artists such as Dali, Erni, Arman, and more recently Pierre & Gilles. For this new feminine advertising campaign, it has teamed up with the Saatchi & Saatchi agency and the renowned English photographer Tim Walker.
A storyteller and daydreamer, Tim Walker prefers pictures to words. When inspiration has him in its grip, the result is a tumultuous fantasy filling every space: nature invades the interior of homes, horses turn up in living rooms, giant red apples lay strewn in the green grass of an orchard, paper-lantern dresses hang suspended from trees… These incredible tableaux are achieved without digital editing.
Piaget’s new feminine campaign is a fantastic excursion into the world of the imagination. Real living images imbued with magic. A Baroque setting is a constant in all these creations, sometimes presented against a backdrop of candles and lights, or decorated with flowers, or simply framed by a garden of Yves Piaget roses. Voluptuousness, sensuality, richness and finesse are the words that best describe it.
Central to all these images is 26 year old Russian supermodel Natasha Pivovarova, who since 2005 has featured prominently in haute couture circles. Herself an artist, she has a studio in Brooklyn where she exhibits her canvasses.
Sharing the stage with the Limelight, Possession and Piaget Rose collections, Natasha Pivovarova draws admiring glances from all sides… she is the embodiment of the Piaget woman, gracious, seductive, charming…
