Re-opening In Geneva - Bulgari In Sparkling New Premises

After several months of renovation work, the Bulgari store on the Rue du Rhône has re-opened its doors, its decor inspired by Geneva’s water jet.

In mid-July, Bulgari inaugurated the new concept for its historic Swiss store, which has been entirely renovated and is now far roomier. With a floor space of around 270 m2, this new point of sale with its bright facade has two entrances, one on the Rue du Rhône, the other at the corner of the Place de la Fusterie. As a result, it enjoys exceptional visibility.

Typical of Bulgari’s architectural style, a Gris Pulpis colonnade has been incorporated into the pre-existing building, reflecting every stage of its history. From the outside, passers-by will notice the metallic decorations that adorn the floor, embodying the store’s unusual decorative theme.

From the main entrance on the corner of the Place de la Fusterie, visitors can take in both floors at a glance and admire the imposing stature of the building, which showcases a decor comprised of polished steel strips inspired by Bulgari’s unique luxury jewellery designs. In the centre of the store, the architectural concept extends from floor to ceiling, echoing the historic links that bind the manufacturer to Geneva by evoking the city’s emblem, the jet of water.

Different perspectives open up to customers according to which entrance they use. Jewellery collections are on show in counters and display cabinets, while the Venetian marble floor features a majestic alabaster star reflecting a level of refinement worthy of the most prestigious jewellery collections. The store has a special area for luxury watchmaking, as well as a department dedicated entirely to collections of accessories. On the first floor, served by a lift, two imposing VIP rooms reserved for private visits offer exceptional views of Geneva and its Lake.
