Cartier In St Moritz - Highly Anticipated Re-Opening

Established in 1975, the Cartier store in Saint-Moritz has re-opened its doors after several months of spectacular renovation. Housed in the legendary edifice known as Badrutt’s Palace, built in 1872 and classed as an historic monument, it is one of the not-to-be-missed venues of this Mecca of elegance.

Since 31 July, customers have stepped into an entirely remodelled floor space of 170 m2 - a doubling of its area – which boasts an interior architecture conceived by Parisian designer Bruno Moinard. In a setting dedicated to the art of living and entertaining, the ambience brings to life all that is precious, rare and elegant, with a love of fine detail and respect for expertise that echo the creations on show in the store’s display cabinets.

Presenting a stunning contrast between its spectacular transparent facade and the intimacy of its subdued interior lighting, this new Cartier showcase offers private alcoves, a warm, inviting library and themed lounges as a balm to its customers. In one such area connoisseurs can admire new collections of luxury timepieces in a resolutely masculine, chocolate-hued ambience ideally suited to the discovery of exceptional manufactory watches. Further on, the sparkle of luxury jewellery beckons; after this, visitors enter the section devoted to accessories and perfumes. In this exquisite setting, where every decorative detail evokes the wonders of jewellery or watchmaking and only the noblest materials are on show, the hushed serenity of luxury captures the very essence of the House of Cartier.
