Carrying on its ambitious development strategy initiated last year, Raymond Weil continues to expand worldwide.
In the vanguard is China, where the Geneva based firm, whose presence in that country already dates back ten years, will see the number of its points of sale rise this year from 88 to 135, with the recent opening of a store in Nantong, an important economic centre very close to Shanghai.
In June, Raymond Weil will see the opening of its first store in India in New Delhi, in the district favoured by prestige brands. Three others will follow in July, in Chennai in the prestigious Express Mall and in the plushest district of Mumbai. Lastly, numerous «shop-in-shop» outlets will be opening throughout the country, in Goa, Calcutta, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Cochin and Pune, helping to create a commercial network on a par with this burgeoning market.
In China and India, the elegant concept designed by the firm’s architect will give collections the same superb backdrop: an opportunity to extol Raymond Weil’s timeless values of independence, creativity, watchmaking expertise and accessibility on emerging markets.
