Hublot And Depeche Mode - Over $620,000 for TCT

From the stage of the 55,000 seater Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf and the venue for the penultimate concert of the groups' "Tour of The Universe", Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver joined Depeche Mode in presenting a cheque for over $620,000 to Teenage Cancer Trust CEO, Simon Davis.

In December 2009, Hublot and Depeche Mode pledged their support to this cause, supporting teenagers with cancer, in terms of care, research, education, family support and specialized diagnoses. Since then a series of joint activities have been conducted between Hublot and Depeche Mode to generate a maximum of funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. First, an auction unique in its kind, conducted from February 6th to 24th via www.hublot.com and www.depechemode.com. 12 boxes comprising each an exclusive Big Bang timepiece, displaying one of the group's albums ont the dial. The boxes also included the vinyl and digital version of the album, a framed gold CD ans signed photos. Then, a charity concert hosted by the group at the Royal Albert Hall in London on February 17 and followed by a VIP reception, where the guests contributed generously to buy raffle tickets and the chance to win Hublot King Power Zirconium.

Tens of thousands of Depeche Mode and Hublot fans have answered to this call, making the auction an overwhelming success. The charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall sold out in a little over 40 minutes as did tickets for the VIP raffle. The sum of their contributions has surpassed $620,000!
