Last June, Graham announced a two-year sponsorship deal with the Formula 1 stable Brawn GP. Several months later, having tasted the excitement of the paddocks in the company of Ross Brawn, Eric Loth, the firm’s CEO, is proud not only that "his" stable won the 2009 Constructors’ World Championship, but also that one of its drivers, Jenson Button, won the World Championship driver’s title.
Arriving specially from England to visit the firm based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Ross Brawn and his chief executive Nick Fry stated in a press conference on 8 December that they wanted to continue the adventure with Graham, despite the fact that the stable is changing its name for the forthcoming season to Mercedes GP.
Eric Loth welcomed the continuation of the agreement and unveiled to the press two major new products linked to the stable: the Tourbillograph Trackmaster G-BGP-001 (limited edition of 200 pieces) and the Silverstone Trackmaster Year One (limited edition of 500 pieces). The latter houses in each of its dials a washer from the body of a Formula 1 car, meticulously cut, ground and incorporated in one of the counters. As a result of the special features of this blanking process, each timepiece is therefore unique.
