Held respectively from 29 October to 1st November at the Bayerische Hof Hotel and from 13 to 15 November at the MAK Museum, MunichTime and ViennaTime, organized for the past ten years or so by the advertising agency Rudolf Kreuzberger, this autumn attracted 17,000 visitors (8,800 in Munich, 8,200 in Vienna). They came to discover the watch collections of around 80 brands, but also the FH thematic exhibition, Think Time - Think Swiss Excellence, which was shown for the first time featuring the brand new technology of display cabinets with animated LCD glass panels. An innovation greatly appreciated by the large numbers of people who showed an interest in the exhibition, as well as Swiss exhibitors who applauded the promotional support thus given by the FH to Swiss made timepieces.
Notable guests included the President of the Austrian government and the President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, as well as a number of Swiss diplomats, both in Munich and in Vienna. In terms of media coverage, Alexander Linz, a specialist journalist and watchmaking expert, gave a great many interviews during which he drew attention to exhibitors’ flagship products.
