One of the most prestigious addresses in Paris now gives visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves completely in the exclusive world of Rolex.
The Dubail family business, which owns four jewellery-watchmaking outlets in Paris, has recently opened a prestigious boutique exclusively dedicated to Rolex at 9 Place Vendôme. Decorated entirely by the brand’s interior designers based in Geneva, it showcases a stylistic language which is shared by all the new Rolex Spaces across the world.
Located in a magnificent 18th century mansion, the boutique benefits from a total floor space of 400 square metres spread over three stories, embodying sophistication and prestige in every single detail. Generous volumes, harmonious lines and high quality fixtures reflect a brand firmly anchored in the world of luxury. The three levels present spaces dedicated to sales, advice and display; they are linked by a big spiral staircase made of glass, bronze and green marble. A majestic eight metre high wall featuring the symbol of the brand, a crown, also crosses the boutique from top to bottom. The first floor accommodates the after-sales service workshop and a private room looking out over the Place Vendôme.
All the materials have been carefully selected and applied: beige leather covers the walls, display cabinet decor and furniture, harmonizing perfectly with the warm hues of bronze and wood, timeless sources of inspiration selected for the wooden panelling and furniture. With its discreetly lit wave pattern, the Aqua glass helps to set the scene and evokes the marine world. In the basement areas, a rotunda in authentic hewn stone bears witness to 18th century architecture and highlights the rich and diverse collections presented in a decor worthy of a museum.
A veritable jewel, the boutique incorporates contemporary design in the majestic environment of the Place Vendôme and pays homage to this unique setting with an elegance worthy of the brand itself. Each visitor and client is invited to experience an exceptional moment, taking advantage of expert advice and the savoir-faire of watchmakers dedicated to the quality and reputation of Rolex.
The story of the Dubail family began in the late nineteen-sixties. Pierre Dubail, a gemstone setter like his father, opened his first workshop and jewellery store with his wife Anne-Marie. A second boutique followed later on the Grands Boulevards. 1984 marked the start of a partnership with the world of luxury watchmaking and saw the inauguration of a store on Boulevard des Capucines. Five years later, Pierre Dubail bought out the famous name of Léon on Rue de Rivoli. In 1993, he opened on the Place Vendôme and a few years later, on Rue François 1er. Finally, in 2005, the boutique previously situated on Boulevard des Capucines was relocated to Rue de la Paix.
