Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie - Online Magazine

As part of its mission to promote fine watches internationally, last autumn the Fondation de la haute horlogerie (FHH) Iaunched its website, www.hautehorlogerie.org. Alongside a vast content embracing cultural, historic and encyclopaedic aspects of Haute Horlogerie (HH Culture and HH Events), the Foundation planned for the site to include an online magazine, HH Journal, which was launched in January: http://journal.hautehorlogerie.org.

"HH Journal is different from any other publication, whether general-interest or specialist, online or in print. Rather than "anything and everything", we were determined that quality would take precedence over quantity. The articles are a reflection of the world of Haute Horlogerie, where the highest standards of selectivity and quality prevail," observes Franco Cologni, Chairman of the FHH and director of publication.

The role of editor-in-chief of HH Journal goes to Christophe Roulet, former editor-in-chief of L'Agefi and a long-time observer of the watchmaking world. He claims: "This new publication, in French and English, addresses a large international audience. It provides welcome and original information on a sector which, while proud of its rich past, continues to move forward. By launching this online magazine, we aim to shed new light on Haute Horlogerie and its unique environment."

With contributions from foreign correspondents and leading names in Haute Horlogerie, the HH Journal reports monthly on latest developments in the market, alongside feature articles on the economy, history and technology. Animations and short films take an offbeat look at Haute Horlogerie. The "news" section will be updated on a daily basis.
