Kazakhstan - New Chopard Boutique

At the end of last year, Chopard opened a new shop in Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan, thereby increasing to 79 the number of its own stores on all five continents.

Centrally located at 125 Bogenbay Batir Street, the new boutique is set to become a key attraction at the heart of Kazak city. The inauguration held on December 11th 2004 was attended by Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, co-president of Chopard, and Eva Herzigova. The inauguration of the boutique was followed by a fashion show led by Eva Herzigova with more than 300 VIP. This magical evening ended with champagne, vodka, caviar and strawberries.

In harmony with existing stores in prestigious locations such as Geneva, London, Paris and New York, Chopard is now expressing its universe of elegance and refinement in the outermost reaches of Asia. Indeed, Chopard’s worldwide success owes much to the development of a broad network of boutiques, serving as highly effective brand embassies in the world’s great cities.

Chopard boutiques offer its clientele an immediately recognisable world, featuring precious wood-panelled walls, hand marquetry-worked flooring and silk-covered seats reflected in antique mirrors. It is this unique atmosphere, evoking the 19th century heyday of Vienna, that clients are delighted to find even in the world’s most remote cities.

In addition to a broad range of jewellery, Haute Joaillerie creations and exclusive accessories (Art of the Table, ties, fragrances, etc), the Chopard boutique in Almaty will also feature a LUC Corner. This presence testifies to the strong interest among masculine clients for the high-precision mechanical movements developed by the Manufacture LUC in Fleurier. It also confirms the powerful renewed appeal of mechanical watchmaking.
