News The former owner of Blancpain and ex-member of the Swatch Group management Jean-Claude Biver was appointed General Manager on 2 June this year of the company MDM Fabrication in Nyon (montres Hublot). The company’s founder, Carlo Crocco, remains President.
Established in 1980, MDM currently produces 16,000 watches each year with an average price of 5,600 francs (prices range from 3,000 to 33,000 francs). The firm has four sales subsidiaries in Germany, the United States, Hong Kong and Japan. The role of the new General Manager will be to provide new momentum in the run-up to the firm’s 25th anniversary.
