In September, the company F.P. Journe opened a watchmaking salon in Japan, in Tokyo's Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a stone's throw from the Nezu museum in the Omotesando district. The premises include a lounge, a bar and a watchmaking library, where collectors and enthusiasts of fine clocks and watches can meet and discuss their shared passion or purchase chronometers produced in limited numbers of a few hundred each year. A delightful location in one of the most beautiful constructions of Tadao Ando, the architect of spirituality.
