In October this year the Bulgari store in Zurich relocated to the Credit Suisse building on Bahnhofstrasse, in all its finery.
This new store will be the standard bearer of Bulgari branches in Switzerland (Geneva, Zurich and Saint-Moritz). The move is part of the group's current strategy, which aims to give a facelift to its main European outlets by bringing them more into line with the times. Susanna Keller-Erb has been appointed to manage the store.
Like all Bulgari stores, the one in Zurich was designed by the company's architect. In accordance with Bulgari principles, particular attention was paid to the harmonious integration of new architectural elements in the existing façade. Zurich thus joins the ranks of the "new generation" of Bulgari stores, characterized by their transparency and their bright and welcoming atmosphere. The façade, much of which is glazed, offers a panoramic view of the store's interior and gives visitors, even before they cross the threshold, an idea of the treasures that await them inside. This feeling of openness to the outside is due to the large windows and extensive glazed areas around the entrance, which open up perspectives and show off to full effect the 260 m2 of brightly lit floorspace within the store.
Aside from Corners dedicated to various lines of accessories, the new sales area, fitted out in the purest tradition of Italian design and featuring materials favoured by the company (pear-tree wood and maple combined with Marmorino Romano), occupies a separate room where clients can be welcomed and advised in perfect tranquillity. The immense tables and numerous interior displays give customers an inkling of the tremendous diversity of products and invite them to stroll through the Bulgari universe.
