Five teachers from Great Britain (Manchester school), Japan (Hiko-Mizuno school), the United States (Okmulgee school), Italy and Switzerland completed the course for trainers which ran from 11 to 15 March at WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland training and educational programme) in Neuchâtel. Designed to impart watchmaking skills, the course features a methodology developed by Antoine Simonin, director of WOSTEP, based on his experience of more than 30 years in this field. This special training is highly regarded by the majority of watchmaking brands, which regularly enrol training managers and workshop supervisors on the course. Combining theory and practice, with a section devoted to exercises in communication and image development organised by Josiane Simonin, head of the aforementioned programme, participants acquire new confidence in the transmission of knowledge. In our photo, the five participants are framed by Josiane and Antoine Simonin.
