The towns and tourist offices of the Swiss Jura presented on 20 November in Neuchâtel the latest edition of "The Watchmaking Route". With 100,000 copies published in three languages (French, German, English), this brochure provides details of 27 heritage museums between Geneva and Basle extolling the virtues of Swiss watchmaking expertise. It is aimed both at watch lovers and the public at large, for whom the brochure provides an insight into a fascinating industry unique in the world. It will be promoted through various distribution channels: Swiss Tourism, Tourist Offices, museums, embassies, jewellers, etc. Expo.02 will also represent an important distribution channel thanks to the cantonal information pavilions that will be located in the immediate proximity of the arteplages.
"The Watchmaking Route" represents the flagship product of the Watch Valley tourist destination, the backbone of various tourist packages that will be developed and offered to future visitors to the Swiss Jura mountains.
