In The City takes over the heart of Geneva

The In The City programme is once again taking over the city centre this year during Watch Week from 14 to 20 April, offering a unique experience intended for a broad audience.

A new space on Quai Général-Guisan is opening its doors as part of a brand-new partnership with the Montreux Jazz Festival. Inspired by the Montreux Jazz Club, an iconic venue offering an immersive experience combining live concerts, close proximity to the artists and a cosy atmosphere, this space showcases young talents from the international music scene as well as jazz ensembles. Open every evening from 5pm to 11pm, this 600sqm venue welcomes the public by prior registration.

The Watchmaking Village has moved into the Pont de la Machine building. Here you’ll find introductory watchmaking workshops, a presentation of watchmaking trades and sectors organised by the Swiss Watch Industry Employers’ Association (CP) along with other watchmaking initiatives. This venue serves as a real hub and the starting point for various guided tours around the city.

The exhibiting brands have once again prepared some wonderful surprises, with events and presentations open to the public all week in their city centre boutiques. The unmissable Thursday evening event takes the form of a musical performance around the harbour.
